Humanity for Relief and Development (HRD) began with a simple yet powerful mission: ensuring no one goes to bed hungry. At the heart of that mission was Mercy Bakery, our very first program, the foundation of our work, and the driving force behind our growth.

As we expanded, it became clear that Mercy Bakery wasn’t just one of our initiatives; it was the core of who we are. That’s why, in 2024, we rebranded to center our identity around the mission that started it all: providing warm, nourishing bread to those in need.

Our new logo reflects this focus, because at HRD, we believe that mercy begins with bread.
