Our brothers and sisters in Yemen are facing challenges of war, starvation, and diseases. When you help Humanity for Relief and Development, you are helping an organization that fosters connections with local community members with the intent to empower and create long-term stability.
We do not have a physical office in the United States with the intent to cut down on administrative costs. Staff work from home through our virtual office to support more of the community in Yemen. If you wish to contact us, you can email us at info@hrdglobal.org, call us at 1844-HRD-GLBL, or at Humanity for Relief and Development PO Box #: 1709593, Brooklyn NY 11217.
We currently only work in Yemen in the most affected governorates of Sana’a (neighborhood Al Farooq), Al Hudaydah (Bait Al Faqiah city), and in the cities of Ibb and Al Bayda Governorate, Rada’a City. We are also working to open a new location to help the people in Taizz. Our work focuses primarily on food security through initiatives like Mercy Bakeries and Mercy Kitchens as well as livelihood development. We hope to expand our services to other regions of Yemen and parts of the world in the future. As we want to protect the security of our female majority staff, we cannot disclose the specific addresses of where we provide services.
We work closely with the governments and other actors in countries, the United Nations, and other aid agencies to coordinate our programs.
